The Moro reflex is an infantile primitive that normally present in all infants and newborns. seen at birth it involuntary response to stimulation or abrupt body displacement. was first described by Austrian pediatrician Ernst 1918. It develops between the 28 32 weeks of gestation disappears 3-6 months age. Abnormalities highly specific for a variety perinatal injuries defects.
